Course Description: Contractors will learn key strategies to manage pricing and labor during continued inflation.  Topics include: assessment of market conditions, current labor trends, common pricing errors, strategy for increases in labor costs, strategy for increases in material and subcontractor costs.

11:30 am – 2:30 pm   Alabama Contracts and Law (3 hour class & AL Specific)

Course Description: This course is a comprehensive overview of Alabama specific home building contracts and law.  Topics include contract basics, HBAA contracts, change orders, the closing, risk of loss, warranties, and arbitration.

This class has been approved by the Alabama Home Builders Licensure Board for 3-hours of continuing education.

2:30 pm – 3:30 pm   Understanding Erosion & Sediment Control (1 hour class)

Course Description: Understanding Erosion and Sediment Control for Construction and Post Construction Stormwater.  Why is control important?  What are the processes and tools to manage these issues?
