9:00AM - 12:00PM - Local Building Codes and Alabama Requirements (3-hour CE Class- AL Specific)

This comprehensive 3-hour course is designed for residential home builders seeking to deepen their understanding of the key aspects of building local municipal and county codes and regulations specific to Alabama. Participants will gain essential knowledge about the construction standards and requirements that govern residential building practices in the state.

12:30-3:30 - Floors, Walls, Ceiling and Roof Framing (3-hour CE Class)

This course focuses on floor and wall layout and framing above the wall-plate line. Topics include leveling tools, framing, layouts, and components of wall and floor framing to include beams, girders, floor joists, sub-flooring, partitions, bracing, headers, sills, doors, corners, ceiling faming, roof framing and building trusses.  Upon completion, students should be able to properly understand basic construction framing procedures for floors, walls ceilings & roofs.
