8:30 am – 11:30 am   Alabama Contracts & Law (AL Specific)

Course Description: This course is a comprehensive overview of AL specific home building contracts and law. Topics include contract basics, HBAA contracts, change orders, the closing, risk of loss, warranties, and arbitration.

•This class has been approved by the Alabama Home Builders Licensure Board for 3-hours of continuing education.



Noon – 1:00 pm   Alabama Home Builder Warranties (AL Specific)

Course Description: Learn all aspects of Alabama home builder warranties to protect your customer, your business and your good name. 

•This class has been approved by the Alabama Home Builders Licensure Board for 1-hours of continuing education.


1:00 pm – 2:00 pm   HBAA Introduction to OSHA

 Course Description: The state of AL utilizes federal safety compliance guidelines for construction.  The HBAA introduction to OSHA program educates students on how OSHA works, their rights as a company, and what to do during an inspection.  Students will understand OSHA’s field operating procedures and what to expect if a violation is found.

•This class has been approved by the Alabama Home Builders Licensure Board for 1-hours of continuing education.


2:00 pm – 3:00 pm   HBAA Safety Program Development

Course Description: The HBAA Safety Program Development class helps construction companies of all sizes create a set of safe work guidelines for all operations.  Whether the company self performs or subcontracts labor, this class provides defined company roles and responsibilities for safety on the job.  Students will understand how to implement and maintain the policy they create.

•This class has been approved by the Alabama Home Builders Licensure Board for 1-hours of continuing education.
